I'm Andrey Malygin, sports marketer
I started my journey in marketing with a scientific study of the possibilities of its use in the army, confirming the results with a Ph.D. thesis in economics. In the mid-nineties, my wonderful and crazy friends and I got into the sporting goods trade, and then created the innovative exhibition project InterCharm, which still holds a position in the international beauty industry today. Our exhibitions ispo Russia and In-Sports, specialized trade magazines and market research in 2004-2009 contributed to the development of the Russian sports industry. The Sport Communication Group, where I was co-owner and VP of Marketing, has become a powerful player in the sports industry. In 2008, the consulting project Sport was launched, the main idea of which was to competently promote the development of sports organizations using exclusive marketing approaches. Among the author's methods are the SOVATIC, CROC, IMPIDA, OPOSA models, the methodology for assessing the marketing potential of sports, the attributive approach to managing a sports event, the model for building a brand of a sports organization, the model for individual marketing of an athlete. All of them are described in my books and journal articles. For several years, our models have already been successfully implemented in hundreds of sports federations, leagues, clubs and schools. Today I head the Department of Sports Marketing at Synergy University in Moscow, I teach author's courses at RIOU, RSUH and Moscow State University.
